PARTICIPATION RULES:
Category 1: students in grades K-1, three minutes time limit, any number of pieces
Category 2: students in grades 2-4, four minutes time limit, any number of pieces
Category 3: students in grades 5-7, five minutes time limit, any number of pieces
Category 4: students in grades 8-10, six minutes time limit, any number of pieces
Category 5: students in grades 11-12, ten minutes time limit, any number of pieces
1. Judges have discretion in enforcing time limits.
2. Applicant may submit any number of repertoires, all must come from the CONTEMPORARY PERIOD , performed from memory.
3. Applicant of category 1 may choose music from method books or ANY composers as long as the music is written in Contemporary style.
4. Application is due on February 5, 2025. Mail in application should be postmarked on or before the due date.

5. Applicant must have been a bona fide student studied with said teacher for the last 6 months.

Music Festival Literature in 2026 will be from the CLASSICAL PERIOD of music.
